Global warming saved the United States. Second quarter GDP was much better than expected because of global warming:

"Wall Street appears to have been caught off-guard by an upward revision to electricity and natural-gas usage figures, which led to an increase in real personal consumption to 2% from the 1.6% initially projected.

A simple explanation, offered by Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Neil Dutta: households ran their air conditioners longer because of warmer-than-average temperature. "

The irony.

Brian Sandoval, is a Republican and Hispanic, and is running for the Governor of Nevada in November 2010. His opponent is Rory Reid, the Majority Leader's son.

Then again, the Reid name is not that great in Nevada. It is so toxic that Rory does not use his last name anymore during what is left of the campaign. Thus, maybe the Majority Leader forgot he had a son since Rory is not using the Reid name.

Oh, Rasmussen Reports (dated August 19, 2010) has Sandoval leading Reid 52 percent to 36 percent. Hopefully Sandoval wins and Henry gets voted out. He can then spend more time getting to know his Hispanic Governor.
